Access: There are two approaches to access the property. Both provide legal access.

Garnet Range Road – Turn south off Montana Highway 200 onto the Garnet Range Road at mile post 22.

This road also leads to the Garnet Ghost Town. Follow the Garnet Range Road approximately 8 miles to the junction with the Union Peak Road (BLM Rd 4618). Turn right and follow the Union Peak road approximately 3 miles to a 3-way intersection. At this point, you are on the property in the NW4NW4 of Section 8 in the northern portion of the property. The Garnet Range Road is a seasonal road and not maintained during winter months for passenger vehicles. Access during this period will require a snow machine.

There is also access from the Ten Mile Creek Road which is tributary to Bear Gulch Road. The Bear Gulch Road is approximately 7 miles east of Bearmouth Exit 138 on the north Frontage road off Interstate 90, approximately 35 miles east of Missoula. Granite County recognizes the Ten Mile Creek Road as an unmaintained county road. The Bear Gulch Road is maintained by the county during winter months.
