Access: The property is approximately a 1 hour drive from Missoula; 45 minutes from Missoula on the paved frontage road and Interstate 90 and 15 minutes on unimproved dirt and gravel roads.
The junction of Mulkey Gulch Road and the Frontage Road is approximately 9 miles west of Drummond, MT.
The property is located approximately 4 miles from the nearest paved public road on unimproved gravel roads. Access on these of roads is seasonal for passenger vehicles do to winter snowpack. The property may be accessed during the winter season by either maintaining these roads (by plowing snow) or by riding a snowmobile. Access with a passenger vehicle is typically from mid-May thru November.
An existing easement across BLM ownership from Mulkey Gulch Road will be assigned at the time of sale. Stimson will retain rights and ability to assign additional easements to benefit remaining Stimson ownerships if necessary.

Terrain: The terrain is generally sloped with level areas along ridgelines and in draw bottoms.
Vegetation: The property is stocked with Douglas fir and ponderosa pine. The majority of trees tend to be 3" – 6" diameter at breast height however, mature stands of merchantable trees exist in the SE portion of the property. The understory is primarily pinegrass, snowberry and ninebark.
